Model's own 'sophie's pink' and 'ibiza mix' | Boots
Necklace and deer print shirt | Dorothy Perkins
Faux leather jacket and leopard bodycon dress | H&M

This is actually a few bits I bought whilst out shopping with my family last weekend. Every time I'd been looking for Ibiza Mix it was sold out so I was really happy to see it. I also got another free nail pen in white this time. I've since used both polishes together and they look perfect, I'll have a post about them very soon.

The star sign necklace was only £1 and I just thought it was pretty cool. Now onto the shirt. I'm so in love with it! I've been after the perfect animal print shirt for so long and I definitely feel that I've found it. I adore the beautiful deer sketches so much.

I'm also so happy to have found such a nice faux leather jacket! I've only ever really had ones in a more cropped style but this one is going to be perfect for layering over jumpers in the autumn and winter months. It's just so soft and comfortable to wear. I also couldn't resist this leopard print bodycon dress because again, it fits so well.

I hope you've all been having a nice Saturday. My sister and I baked some chocolate brownies which I'll post the recipe for later this week :)

Top | River Island
Jeggings | H&M
Shoes | Zara
Lips | Rimmel funtime fuschia

Hey sweeties, I finally have another outfit post to share with you. I recently bought this River Island top on eBay. I mostly couldn't resist it due to the beautiful pink colour but when I received it I was really happy with all the cute detailing. Whilst I am excited for all the lovely autumn shades, I will always love pink.

Yesterday I finally made my return to the gym, after not going for about 3 months. I miss the high that exercise gives me. I do go out on my bike a lot but I like to do a variety of exercise :) In the evening I went to the cinema with my sister to see House at the End of the Street. It was a decent movie but really not that scary. I'm quite looking forward to the release of Sinister, hopefully it will be frightening since it's from the people behind Insidious (and I loved that one).

I hope everyone is having a nice night, and thank you to any new followers :)

Superdrug coconut & sweet almond intensive conditioner.

Superdrug coconut & sweet almond intensive conditioner | around £1.89

I thought I'd share one of my favourite conditioners with you all. I'm not 100% sure of the price as I can't find it on the website but I know it's cheap! I personally love Superdrug's own brand products.

This conditioner is for dry or damaged hair, mines hasn't been too damaged lately but it can suffer from dryness. I like to leave this on for a few minutes whilst I'm in the shower. The product itself is quite thick but I just love the luxurious look and feel of it. It looks sort of shimmery (reminds me of nice shells at the beach for some reason haha). It doesn't contain any silicones (I won't bore you with the details of why that's good), has natural coconut oil and almond extract, and helps restore moisture and strength.

I've been purchasing this product for a couple of years now and although I do like to change up the conditioners I use, I know I will always repurchase this as long as it is available. The smell alone is enough to make me fall in love!

What cheap but lovely hair products do you like?

Jumpers | £12 each
Scarf | £4
Phone cover | £2

Yesterday I was in town posting a few eBay items, when I thought I'd take a look in Topshop and see the now very popular faux leather jacket with faux fur collar (on my wish list here). To be honest, I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. Anyway, instead I thought I'd go see what cosy autumn offerings Primark had to give. My goodness, it was jumpers galore!

I'm happy with my choices. I wanted some jumpers which were long enough to just slightly cover the bum as most of the ones I own are kind of cropped. Both of them (especially the pink one) are so cosy and soft! I've also been after a long lightweight scarf for a while and the colours/pattern in this one are perfect.

I was on my way to the till when I noticed my Primark had started stocking phone covers, this one was just too pretty to pass up for only £2!

Hope everyone is having a nice day. It's pouring outside here so I'm sitting with candles on and enjoying many cups of green tea, I love lazy days like these.

Dress & belt | New Look
Shoes | Office
Bracelet | Gift
Lipstick | Bourjois sweet kiss
Nails | Model's Own snow white, black nail art pen, and Barry M peach melba

Hey pretties! Thought I'd share this outfit with you all as it's what I wore to go see Beirut in concert the other night. I am completely in LOVE with them so I was beyond excited! I knew it would be a laidback kind of happy atmosphere (i.e. no sweaty jumping about) so I opted for this pretty Hawaiian-style dress from New Look.

The gig was beautiful, they played all my favourite songs and the main singer kept attempting a Scottish accent. Please listen to them if you haven't before, they make the most stunning music. Supporting them was Daughter who sing the most wonderfully sad songs. Overall I had such a lovely night in Glasgow with my friend even if we did get slightly lost to begin with haha (thank god for Google maps).

I've included a photo of my nails (which I painted about a week ago) so they're definitely chipping but I wanted to show you them. I love how these colours look together.

 001. I love the delicate pink colour of this top, and the collar detail is so pretty.

 002. I've wanted a teacup and saucer set like this for so long, but had completely forgotten about it. I  love the idea of being able to see your drink through the cup, I'm just a weirdo like that.

 003. These are just too cute! I recently bought a white peter pan collar shirt and I think one of these would look sweet with it.

 004. I think ASOS had the same (or similar) hat out last year, and I regretted not buying it. I want to be a cupcake.

 005. The idea of this book is so lovely, and is really good if you'd like to keep a simple journal but  you're feeling stuck for things to write about.

 006. Ahhh this dress is just so perfect for autumn, it would look so nice beneath a cosy jacket.

Recipe | My favourite breakfast smoothie.

September 09, 2012

I thought I'd share my favourite (and very simple) smoothie to have for breakfast, or any time of the day really. I have this quite a few times a week, and my family enjoy it too so I know it's a good one! It's so quick to make so it's great if you want something really healthy in the mornings but don't have the energy to make anything too complex (generally, who does?). Feel free to let me know if you have any other great smoothie recipes!

   Makes 4 - 6 small servings

   2 ripe bananas
1 cup raspberries (frozen is best)
   1 cup milk
   1 cup vanilla yoghurt
   Pinch of salt

Synchronous bloom.

Top | New Look
Disco pants | Glamorous
Shoes | Primark
Ring | Miss Selfridge

Okay I really couldn't resist wearing my new top right away, and it just had to be with some red lipstick. The top is so comfortable to wear but still has enough pretty detail to not be too casual. I think it would also look really lovely tucked into a high-waisted skirt.

This morning (of course dressed differently), I attended the Edinburgh Sky bike ride and got to see Sir Chris Hoy. Any excuse for me to be out and about with my pink bike haha. Then later this afternoon my sister and I attempted to make some pancakes but we just couldn't get them right (the middle didn't seem to want to cook properly). If anyone has a foolproof pancake recipe please let me know :)

Tonight I am going to have a cosy night in with some movies and lots of chai tea. Last night I watched Midnight in Paris for the first time and it was such a magical little film, I recommend it!
